New Maywood Senior Club
Maywood Senior Citizen Club will
meet every Friday from Noon to 3
p.m. starting on Friday, July 11 at
the Maywood Multi-Purpose Building,
200 S. 5th Avenue. This club
is open to all senior citizens
residing in Maywood.
The
Club will feature bingo, card games,
other activities and refreshments.
Free bus transportation will be
provided. For more

Mayor
Yarbrough stated, "We are pleased to
be able to launch the Maywood Senior
Citizen Club. It will provide
our senior residents with a weekly
opportunity to engage, eat and have
fun together with other seniors.
Building community means providing
for all residents a healthy, safe
and fun environment.

MINI-BUS SERVICE
The
Village of Maywood provides FREE
mini-bus service for senior citizens
(age 65 and older) and handicapped
persons.
Reservations Required:
To use the service, call the Village
switchboard (708-450-6300),
between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., one
day ahead of the time you would like
to be picked up. To make a
reservation after 3:00 p.m., call (708-692-7129

MINI-BUS SERVICE
PACE
and the Proviso Council on Aging
offer door-to-door bus service for
Maywood residents who are 60 and
older or disabled through the
Dial-A-Ride program. The
service is strictly for transporting
senior citizens to and from the West
Suburban Senior Services Center
located at 439 Bohland in Bellwood.
Buses operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
Reservations Required:
To use the service, call before noon
one day in advance of pick up.
The fare is $1.50 each way. |
