MAYWOOD POLICE HOLD FOUR
COMMUNITY ROLL CALLS THIS SUMMER
VILLAGE INITIATIVE SPOTLIGHTS SERVICE BLITZ, INFORMATION, AND FAMILY INTERACTION WITH STAFF
The Village of Maywood and the Maywood Alternative Policing Strategies will host four Community Outdoor Roll Calls this summer. Starting with a Zone 3 event tomorrow night on the 200 block of S. 18th Avenue, the roll calls provide an opportunity for residents to interact with staff and police officers. All roll calls are from 6-7:30 PM.
Other scheduled roll calls are as follows: Zone 1 on Thursday, July 29 on Sixth Avenue between Erie and Lake; Zone 2 on Thursday, August 5 between 600-800 Block of S. 6th Avenue; and Zone 4 on Thursday, August 19 in Bataan Park at 22nd Avenue and Lexington.
All roll calls will include food, refreshments and fun for the children. The village will do a service blitz during each roll call including tree trimming, environmental inspections, street cleaning, and checking street lights. |
