Maywood residents itching to become “urban farmers” are invited to apply for lots at the village’s community garden, 711 Maple Avenue.  Double-sized lots are available.
 
Apply for a membership pass by contacting Maywood Community Development Director Lori Sommers at 708: 450-4429.  Members will be provided an individual plot to plant vegetables and other food items.  Typical plot size is
20 x 20 or 20 x 10.
