MAYWOOD TARGETS
LOCATIONS FOR
SEWER AND
DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT
The Village of
Maywood will fix
sewers and
drainage
structures at 23
designated
locations
starting this
month. The
$329,000 project
will be funded
with village
capital
improvement
funds. All
locations should
be repaired by
the end of this
year.
“We will attack
our priority
list of areas
that have
historically
suffered from
water problems
due to
rainstorms,”
Village Manager
Jason Ervin
stated. “Our
goal will be to
repair and
replace sewers
and drainage
structures that
have too often
left certain
areas with
standing water,”
he exclaimed.
Approximately
half of the
locations are
between the
Eisenhower
Expressway and
Maywood Drive.
Six are south of
the expressway.
