HIGHLY COMPENSATED EMPLOYEES

The Village of Maywood, in accordance with State Law is making available the names and salaries of employees that will receive over $75,000 in total compensation during the current Fiscal year - that is, period for which the Village Board recently approved the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2013 (May 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013).

This Pilot Program offers affordable interest rates and provides down payment and /or closing cost assistance to homebuyers purchasing vacant homes in six pilot communities.

C O M M U N I T Y     D E V E L O P M E N T

ILLINOIS BUILDING BLOCKS PILOT PROGRAM

RFQ - This Pilot Program aims to address the economic, public safety and quality of life issues caused by abandoned and foreclosed properties in the following communities: Berwyn, Chicago Heights, Maywood, Park Forest , Riverdale, and South Holland.  The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) will work with municipalities and local developers to acquire, rehabilitate and sell ten to 15 single family properties in each community.  Financing from State Capital Funds (administered by IHDA) will provide the resources for the Program.  Developers will be required to acquire, rehabilitate and sell the properties within a 24-month timeframe.  This Request for Qualification (RFQ) will assist IHDA and the municipalities in evaluating and selecting the developers that will be eligible to participate in the Program.
